Maybe you noticed it in my Instagram feed (of Facebook for that matter): the images I shoot in Amsterdam more and more become city-scapes. Of course, real street photography is still there too, but less.
I started doing this since I realized it is important to me what the city itself looked like at the moment I took the picture. Kind of making it more easy for me to recall the situation and the city as they were.
As soon as I started doing this I felt the need to print them as well. First I did some printing at home, later I tried prints on aluminum. Not at home of course, I ordered them.
I kind of like it.
Being able to actually hold the prints in my hand and feel them. Brushed aluminum is a great medium for black and white prints I discovered.
